The development of the infrastructures is 1st in the Regional Government list of priorities. It is finding resources from private and public sources.

To date the Region, thanks to the stretch of motorway that runs the length of the region following the coastline, is immediately connected to Northern Italy (Milan) and Central Italy (Rome). The Ancona - Falconara airport supplies connections with all the major European capitals and with many other Italian cities, the port of Ancona provides for all the cargo and people directed to many of the central Mediterranean ports.
