The Political Science Faculty and the Department of Studies for Economic Development of the University of Macerata announce the seventh edition, for the academic year 2008-2009, of the first level master course Relations with Eastern Countries. The Master Program will consist of 60 credits, equal to 1500 hours of overall workload. Collaborating in the Master Program are the Marche Region, the Province of Macerata, the Townships of Macerata and Civitanova Marche, the Institute for Foreign Commerce, the Macerata Chamber of Commerce, Confindustra Marche, the Central and Eastern European University Network – CEEUN, and the Economic Attachés’ Club of foreign embassies in Italy. more 

Marche Region Government is attending  the 5th Edition of the 2007 OPEN DAYS European Week of Regions and Cities will take place in Brussels between 8 and 11 October (the biggest annual event on EU regional policy).
Organised by the European Commission’s Regional Policy Directorate-General (DG REGIO) and the Committee of Regions (CoR), the purpose of this conference is to bring together public and private stakeholders, to get them involved in and inform them about practical funding possibilities from the EU.

2007 OPEN DAYS’ partners include more than 130 regions and cities from all over Europe, the European Parliament’s Committee for Regional Development, European financial institutions, European business organisations, social partner and civil society organisations, amongst others. more
